Street Luge Classes & Instruction Rates - Effective 7/1/03

Skill Level A: Introduction to Street Luge	$ 145.00
This lesson for the "curious", teaches the basics of starting, stopping and turning. Held on lower 1/4 mile of road. Class includes training, luge, leathers, helmet, gloves and shoes. Sat. or Sun. (2.5 hrs in mornings only 9:30am - 12:00p).

Skill Level 1: Basic Street Street Luging Techniques	$245.00
In this course the student learns the basic skills and fundamentals of street luging. Included are familiarization with equipment, setup, luge theory, starting, stopping, turning, tuck position, air braking, right of way rules & safety. Classes held on lower 6/10 mile of "The Dinosaur". Class includes training, luge, leathers, helmet, gloves and shoes. Sat. or Sun. (5 hrs - 9:30am - 2:30pm)

Skill Level 2: Advanced Basic Street Luging Techniques

This course is for the Level 1 graduate or equivalent. The course includes review of the basic street luging terminology, equipment, rules of the road, equipment handling, street luging skills & safety. Basic street luging techniques will be fine tuned. Improvements in the push, tuck position, line of road and high speed cornering. Class held on the entire 2.5 miles of "The Dinosaur" with speeds of 70 mph+ possible.

Class includes training, luge, leathers, helmet, gloves & shoes Sat. or Sun. (2.5 hrs - 2:30pm - 5:00pm).

Skill Level 3: Aggressive Turning & Braking

Student must have completed Skill Levels 1 & 2 or demonstrate equivalent riding ability. In this course, the student learns street luge setup, riding for tight corners and hairpins. Included are: truck adjustment and alignment, wheelbase adjustment, hard braking from speed, cornering in tight turns, rapid direction transition and turn control braking. Class held on lower 6/10 mile of "The Dinosaur".

Class includes training, luge, leathers, helmet, gloves and shoes. Sat. or Sun. (5 hrs - 9:30am - 2:30pm)

Skill Level 4: Advanced Aggressive Turning & Braking

This course is for the Level 3 graduate or equivalent. The course includes review of aggressive riding luge setup, fine tuning luge for high speed, tight corners and hairpins. Refinements in hard braking and turn control braking. Progression to tighter and tighter turns. Class held on entire 2.5 miles of "The Dinosaur".

Class includes training, luge, leathers, helmet, gloves & shoes. Sat. or Sun. (2.5 hts - 2:30pm - 5:00pm)

Skill Level 5: Time Trials

$125.00

This class is for the level 2 graduate, equivalent or above student that wishes to expend the maximum effort within their riding abilities to achieve the best timed runs down "The Dinosaur". The student will apply all the skills and techniques learned in the previous courses. Runs will be timed with stopwatches and "maximum speed" will be recorded by GPS and reconciled with accurate speedometer readings. Time Trials held on entire 2.5 miles of "The Dinosaur".

Class includes training, luge, leathers, helmet, gloves and shoes. Sat or Sun (1:30pm - 4:00pm)

What to Bring: Students & Riders should wear or bring a pair of shorts and tee shirt to go under leathers and bring a pair of "sweat" socks. Bring a "boxed" lunch & plenty to drink…..(NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED)….. Bring sunscreen. The "pit" area has no shade.

Registration: Advance registration and full payment is required to ensure availability of equipment. At this time advance payment can be made by check or money order payable to Wild Fro Racing LLC. Minimum of 2 students for class to be held. Only cash payment is accepted at road.

Cancellations: 10 DAY notice is required for full credit or refund ($25.00 will be retained by WFR LLC for materials shipped on our "Gift Certificate Specials"). A 25% cancellation fee will be charged if less than 10 DAY notice. No refund or credit if failure to show, no notice, or canceling on the same day as instruction (ask about rescheduling options).

Cancellations by WFR LLC caused by weather: Safety for all trainees is of utmost importance to Wild Fro Racing LLC, therefore if weather conditions in WFR LLC's opinion, are such as to pose a riding hazard, WFR LLC will reschedule classes with trainees.

Make-ups: Students are encouraged to attend all their classes as scheduled. Make-ups are possible if the following conditions exist: 1. Students must notify Wild Fro Racing LLC in advance if a class will be missed. 2. Make-ups can only take place if there is another class with vacancy at the appropriate level. There is a $35.00 fee for each make-up.
