Red Bull continues to be the premier Street Luge sponsor and
the Grand Prix was no exception. The scenery in Utah was spectacular as usual.
The atmosphere was festive as we saw balloons and ultra light
planes all weekend.
John Ozman took the heat as our venerable tech inspector.
I could never do his job, it takes a special kind of guy.
I heard that there were over 60 street lugers entered and
well over 90 for the whole event.
Team Sportin' Wood was together again. Darren's not really
in pain, it's just the sun.
Team F-6 made their 1st race appearance. 5 team members from
what one might consider the flattest place on earth (next to Kansas I guess) Oklahoma.
Get the name?
Pam really liked Pat Moody's board. I know I like girls...
If anyone was wondering where all the Cherries went... Talk
to Kurtis Head.
Bob and Brent give advise to Sherm and son. That Red Bull
car certainly gets around.
Bob's fan club included this little guy (there's really someone
in there!).
Team BodRodz made a splash with new boards and matching lathers
and helmets. We all wait in anticipation of the team hitting the 100 mph mark.
No kidding.
Vans was there providing a "van" for all their racers.
