The town of Munnsville did themselves proud this past weekend, hosting the 5th Madison County Gravity Fest. With an estimated total purse prize in the thousands of dollars, it's the premier event in the United States this year. All pro divisions were paid to at least 6th place.

Over 75 riders from all over the US (Florida, California, Washington, Nevada, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland & Connecticut) and Canada turned out to compete in 8 disciplines over the two day event. We had sun, rain and an odd tornado warning or two.

Gravity Sprorts Internantional (GSI) officials led by Neil Orta put on one hell of an organized race. The town of Munnsville and the event sponsors stepped up by providing food (and cooks), parties, camping, showers, communications, EMTs, course workers, shuttles for spectators, a grandstand, PA system and a band at Crash Corner.
