Wild Fro Racing LLC will maintain "road control" over the Dinosaur Point Road on scheduled days.
For current schedule, please email WildFro Racing LLC. Riding will start at 9:30 am and will go to at least 4:00 pm.

Where and what type of road is Dinosaur Point Road?
Dinosaur Point Rd is located in the Pacheco State Park centrally located in California about 2 hours south of San Francisco, about 4 hours north of Los Angeles, about 2 hours west of Sacramento and about 1 hour south of San Jose. The road is an exit off of Hwy. 152 near the top of Pacheco Pass and leads down to the San Luis Reservoir.

If you are coming from the North via Hwy. 101: Take the Hwy. 152 exit East (Pacheco Pass). At the 1st traffic light, make a left onto Hwy. 152. Travel east approx. 24-25 miles (stay on Hwy 152, bearing left at Hwy 156, you will be heading towards the Pacheco Pass) make a right onto Dinosaur Point Rd. Registration is in parking lot at the bottom of the hill.

If you are coming from the North via Hwy. 5: Exit at Hwy. 152 West. Travel west approx. 15-16 miles (you will be heading up Pacheco Pass) make a left onto Dinosaur Point Rd. Registration is in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill.

If you are coming from the South via Hwy. 101: Take the Hwy. 152 exit East (Pacheco Pass). Bear right onto Hwy. 152 East off Hwy.101, travel east approx. 23-24 miles (stay on Hwy 152, bearing left at Hwy 156, you will be heading towards the Pacheco Pass) make a right onto Dinosaur Point Road. Registration is in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill.

If you are coming from the South via Hwy. 5: Take the Hwy. 152 Exit West. Travel west approx. 15-16 miles (you will be heading up Pacheco Pass) make a left onto Dinosaur Point Rd. Registration is in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill.

What you will find at the "drop": Newbie, Amateur or Pro enjoy this 2.5 mile, smooth, 70+ mph hill with sweeping turns and a 65mph+ chicane, a 1/2 mile long straight and up hill shut down. The 2.5 miles has an average 7% grade. At the bottom is the San Luis Reservoir, which has a boat launch dock, large paved parking lot, barbecue pits and tables. Boats and jet skies can be used on the lake. Fishing is also allowed. Camp grounds and RV sites are available on the far side of the lake.
